The Story of Tooth and Claw

Now, every pack dog believes in lore, and they believe in a particular story passed down from parent to child, and so on. Many dogs believe in this story, the story of Tooth and Claw, about two dogs.



Years ago, there were two dogs. One was named Tooth, and the other was Claw. Tooth was best friends with Claw, she cared about him a lot. They lived in the streets of Northern Springtown with their parents Artemis(female) and Apollo(male), and Tooth and Claw loved exploring. They would steal food from the humans sometimes. As they grew older, the two siblings became obsessed with the idea of forming their own packs after seeing groups of stray dogs. Claw, being he was ambitious, a daredevil, and quite snobby, joined a pack and challenged their alpha, and he won. Claw took over the pack and named it the Reapers. Having power took over him, and he became very aggressive and brutal. On the other hand, Tooth was kinder, and instead of being challenging, she joined a pack and worked her way up the ranks. When the alpha of her pack died, she was made the second-in-command because of her loyalty. As her time as Alpha, Tooth invented the jobs and ranks.

Tooth then renamed her pack the Fishers, and they took refuge over at a marsh. Claw had decided to move his pack to the marsh as well after discovering his sister lived there, wanting to claim the territory as his own. Tooth was disgusted and upset at her brother's choices and behavior, and was reluctant to accept his challenge. The siblings fought, and their packs joined in. During the fight, Tooth was badly injured and her back was broken. Her pack's Healer had helped her. Claw and his pack then left the marsh, still settling close though. Claw became amused at how friendly Tooth's pack was, and he went to attack her in secret, declaring that the female was no longer his sister being she was weak and kind and not arrogant and brutal like him. In the fight, Claw killed Tooth, and took over the Fishers until the new Alpha, Cleopatra, killed him in a revenge-fight. The new Alpha of the Reapers, Ghast, invented the Pack Law, and helped bring kindness to the Reapers, which ended after he was killed by his brutal Underboss, Pisces.

Then, more dogs began forming packs, wanting to help fight the Reapers and end their brutality. These packs were called the Meteors, Deltas, and Ghosts. After Pisces died in a fight with the Deltas, a dog called Grim took over. Now, all of the packs are locked in a rivalry with the Reapers, but most pack dogs have forgotten.
